A Criminal Enterprise In The White House: All The President’s Crooks

There is a Russian Mafia. One of the things it does is launder ill-gotten money. One of the ways this is done is by buying high-end condominiums for cash in foreign countries. One of these countries is the United States and one of the places this is done is in Manhattan. That includes space in Trump Tower.

It is said that the Russian Mafia is simply an extension of the old KGB. It’s part of the Russian government. Its leader is Vladimir Putin. One of the probable reasons that the Trump Tower never got built in Moscow was that the Russian oligarchs didn’t want to launder their money through condos in their home country. I mean, what’s the point?

But fear not. The United States government is doing all that it can to try to keep up by having a criminal enterprise installed in the White House with complicit capos in Congress. The leader of that criminal enterprise is none other than the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The bad news for Mr. Trump is that the Eliot Ness of 2018, Robert Mueller, is on to him. How do I know? The government just gave the bookkeeper immunity.

The Trump Chief Financial Officer has been granted immunity in New York. All financial transactions that ran through the Trump organization ran through Mr. Allen Weisselberg. If they can get the bookkeeper to talk, it’s like in Brian De Palma’s The Untouchables, the jig may be up for the leader of the Mafia. In addition, David Pecker, publisher of the National Enquirer was also granted immunity. Supposedly he has a safe full of the buried stories purchased then not published by the Enquirer in an effort to further Donald Trump’s chances of being elected president. After all, Mr. Trump is the first candidate for president ever endorsed by the Enquirer. And, inquiring minds want to know, including the mind of Robert Mueller.

This is all a prelude to noting that Mr. Mueller better hurry up with his report. It is not at all far-fetched that Mr. Trump will fire the recused Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his assistant Rod Rosenstein (he’s in charge of the Muller probe) as soon as he gets the bad news about the mid-term elections in an effort to ward of an impeachment effort by Democrats if they take back the House. He will hire a new Attorney General, now that Senator Grassley of Judiciary will make time for the hearing, and that AG will fire Mueller.

I have to admit, I never thought that I would see a scandal on the White House greater than Watergate in my lifetime. I was wrong again. This is worse. Remember nothing revealed so far in payoffs to porn stars, implications of Trump’s awareness of this, and his attempt to throw the election—nothing yet unearthed, involves the Russians. That’s yet to come. My guess is that Mr. Trump knew about the June 2016 meeting with Russians at Trump Tower. The presence of Jared Kushner, Donald Trump, Jr. and Paul Manafort suggests that this meeting was deemed important and it belies credibility that Trump himself would not have known about a meeting to get dirt on his opponent. He may also have known about the Russian hacks of the Democratic National Committee that began the day he asked them to.

The United States is in the grips of a serious criminal conspiracy that makes Watergate look like small potatoes. It will take a quick-footed Robert Mueller to fry those potatoes. He needs to get on with that. They’re super-sized!
